You can reach Zanzibar by:

• Flight — 20-minute flight from Dar es Salaam, or 1-hour from Arusha/Kilimanjaro
• Ferry — 1.5 to 2 hours from Dar es Salaam to Zanzibar

Zanzibar has a tropical climate with year-round warm weather. The best months are:
